International Tax Center Alumni Lex

ITC Alumni Lex is the association no profit based in Bern, Switzerland, made by all members of the International Tax Network that have been the alums of the International Tax Center of the University of Leiden in Netherlands, and governed by the Global Board with the aim of promoting through the Scientific committee composed by dedicated Focus teams in either the Private, Corporate or Institution area, (i) the development of studies, research, publications and training related to international taxation and transfer pricing among its members, partners, associates and to non-members (ii) professional co-operation and referral of tax projects among its members, partners and associates.

With reference to the Private Area, Private teams are made up by international tax experts that operate in the following specific practises:

3. Protection, administration and transfer of assets
4. Generational transition and governance
5. Collections of works of art and other luxury assets
6. International tax planning
7. Philanthropic activities

With reference to the Corporate Area, Corporate teams are made up by international tax experts that operate in the following specific practises:

3. International compliance assurance programme
4. DTC network and MLI interpretation and application
5. Tax Due Diligence

7. Transfer pricing documentation

With reference to the Institution Area, the international Institution team is a team of international tax experts that provide a service that helps government institutions and public bodies to make decisions by providing them with the necessary information and analysis.

The service is designed to provide fast and efficient analyses, ensuring that decision makers have the information they need in a timely manner. The Institution Team’s analyses are constantly updated and provide objective information and interpretations to decision makers.

The main objective is to provide a comprehensive overview of tax policies at the national and international level. The topics covered by the analyses include the dynamics of tax policies in different countries.
